Grow, Sell, Simplify. These really are the only three options for small businesses like yours. If you don’t grow, you will stagnate and, eventually, your business will die. If you don’t grow with the intent of selling, or, take advantage of a quality offer when the time is right…your business will eventually die. If you know that you’re not interested in scalable growth or exit, then you must simplify your business to the point it can be run simply, either by you or your staff of choice.
Our process is simple. We conduct an interview to ascertain your goals and needs. We come back with an evaluation and a plan of attack based on realistic expectations, guided by your specific set of goals and needs. You will be defined as either a “Grow”, a “Sell”, or, a “Simplify” company and your plan of attack will be custom tailored to your bespoke requirements.
GSS clients should expect to spend anywhere from 3 months to 3 years in our program depending on their specific situation.
There are no fixed requirements for the GSS program, but we do prefer smaller businesses, typically in the $1M to $5M annual revenue range. Since the GSS program typically tends to lead toward (or utilize aspects of) the acquisition process, we require applicants to have access to a minimum of $500K in deployable working business capital at all times.
